AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. William H. Holmes Jr., beloved husband of Lieselotte K. Holmes, entered into rest Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Charlie Norwood Veterans Memorial Center. Funeral services will be held at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel, Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Michael Freed officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Full military honors will be accorded by the military detachment at Ft. Gordon, Ga. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church, 2860 Wells Drive, Augusta, Ga. 30906.
