NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Entered into rest Friday, May 23RD, 2008, Mrs. K. Amy Scruggs, 74, of North Augusta, SC, beloved wife of fifty-four years to Cecil B. Scruggs and daughter of the late Charles Hugh and Helen Revis Ward. Born in Hendersonville County, NC, she had been an area resident since 1954 where she retired from Val Chem where she was a Lab Technician. She was a very faithfully member of Belvedere First Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and the Shrine Club. Family members include her children, Teresa K. Jones, (Brendan Ames) Augusta, GA, Vickie Smothers, (Tom) Barnwell, SC, Donna Schultz, (Eric) Johnston, SC and Kimberly Losier, North Augusta, SC; sister-in-laws, Emily Scruggs, Lugoff, SC and Betty Kobes, (Roger) North Augusta, SC; grandchildren, the late Heatha M. Corbett, Paul Daniel Amos, Brooke Corbett, Bre-Anna Jones, Travis Smothers, Melanie Perry, Dana Bowen, Lauren Morris Bledsoe, Kellie Morris, Emilee Losier and Erin Nicole Losier, seven great-grandchildren and her faithful companion, Will. The family has asked that memorials be made to Belvedere First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 25TH, 2008, at 2 o'clock at Belvedere First Baptist Church, Belvedere, SC, with Pastor John Meyer officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens, North Augusta, SC. Pallbearers will be Charles Bledsoe, Jonathan Overstreet, Brendan Ames, Travis Smothers, Warren Smith, and Vernon Small. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Lucy Pearson Sunday School Class.
