SPARTA, Ga. - Mr. Johnny Watkins, 72, of 9554 Hwy 16, Sparta, Georgia died May 17, 2008 in an Augusta hospital. He leaves to cherish his memories a wife Dorothy Watkins, son Jimmy Watkins, three daughters Lisa Laughlin, Rosie Williams and Leslie M. Watkins all of Sparta, Ga., one step-son Brad Edwards and one step-daughter Charlotta Lawrence both of Sparta, Ga. eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, five sisters, Ola Ree Mosley, Lena Warren, Mary Lee Jones, all of Sparta, Ga. Georgia Edwards of Bradenton, Fla, and Helen Watkins of Brooklyn, Ny. Services will be held Saturday, May 24, 2008, at 3:00 P.M. at Hunt's Chapel AME Church with burial in church cemetery. Rev.
