Redd and daughter of the late Huey and Eunice Youngblood Kneece. Born in Williston, SC, she had been a resident of the area most of her life. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband family members include sons, the late Larry Hoover, David Timothy Redd, (Diane D.) North Augusta, SC and Benjamin Edward Redd, (Lonie) North Augusta, SC; brothers, Harold L. Kneece, Bonita Springs, FL, Gene Ray Kneece, Augusta, GA, and Roger T. Kneece, Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Lara Simpers and Benjamin Edawrd Redd, Jr, and a great-grandchild, Claudia E. Parrish. Funeral services will be private.
