I would like to express my appreciation to everyone involved in the Thunder Over Augusta event this past weekend. It was the most enjoyable event that I have ever attended in the downtown area.
The most enjoyable aspect of the entire event was that the people of the CSRA were able to show our appreciation to the men and women risking their lives for our freedom. Though it is impossible to repay them, we were able to pay tribute to them in an honorable way.
I will never forget my 8-year-old son holding two flashlights on the American flag as he waved the flag to the music of Lee Greenwood singing God Bless the USA . Thank you again for making the memories possible.
