Programmed callers to Austin's show will NOT be necessarily useful. Attend the live debate at the library next month.
The citizens of our area have a very important decision to make concerning who will be our next congressman from U.S. House District 10.
Most people tell me they are just too busy to attend a debate to learn about the candidates. Candidates tell me they wish they could meet and speak to a large number of interested voters, but that is difficult to do. The public will have a rare opportunity to get involved in a debate between U.S. Rep. Paul Broun and his opponent, state Rep. Barry Fleming. On May 30, between 4 and 6 p.m., these two men will square off in a radio debate on WGAC-AM (580). The voters will have the opportunity to call the radio show and ask any question that is on their minds.
This race is too important to ignore, and I think this is an excellent way to learn more about the candidates.
