Patriotic tribute was spectacular

Thunder Over Augusta this past weekend -- what a celebration of our country and freedom! The moment of inspiration was captured by Windsor Jewelers chief executive Donnie Thompson, who, according to many, was the spearhead of the heartwarming day and night.

The concert with all the patriotic songs, the soldiers on stage and the enthusiasm was a true inspiration of gratitude for the freedoms that we share as Americans. The thousands in attendance are proof that we want to celebrate our nation and all that it stands for in the name of freedom.

Thank you, Donnie Thompson, and all those who so graciously gave of time and money.

Jane Howington, Augusta

I have been to many places

I have been to many places and have said my fair share of bad things about Augusta, but this event was one of the best I have ever attended. Great Job Augusta. It was a night to remember. Thank you.
