MCCORMICK, S.C. - Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Prothe, 76, of Savannah Dr., McCormick, S.C., died Sat., May 17, 2008 at Doctor's Hospital, Augusta. Mrs. Prothe, the daughter of the late William and Alice Everitt Higgins, was born on Oct. 20, 1931 in Lake Forest, Illinois. She and her husband, Lester had moved to Savannah Lakes Village 14 years ago from Leesburg, Indiana. She was a retired dental hygienist, a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, McCormick and the Red Hat Society. Her interests included golf, tennis. Most of all, Pat enjoyed the lake. Survivors: Husband: Lester Prothe; Daughters: Michelle Karen McKibben, and husband, Mark of Chesterton, Indiana, Melissa Marie Lehmann and husband, John of Mechanicsville, VA, Melinda Lynn Tinsley and husband, Cal of Titusville, Fl.; Eight Grandchildren: Christopher, Patrick, and Nicholas McKibben, Brittany, Ashley, and Jonathan, Lehmann, and Morgan and Curtis Tinsley. A memorial mass is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
