GREENSBORO, Ga. - Eleanor Veazey Bowers, 90, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2008 after an extended illness. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Greensboro. The family will receive visitors beginning at 12 p.m. in the Church Social Hall. Interment will be at Greensboro City Cemetery. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W. Broad St., Greensboro, is in charge of arrangements.
