GASTON, S.C. - Funeral services for Mr. Michael Pinckney, age 57, will be held Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 3 p.m. at Smyrna Baptist Church, 514 Smyrna Church Road, Springfield, S.C. Mr. Pinckney will be placed in the church one hour before services. Visitation will be held Friday, May 16, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home, 190 Railroad Ave. W., Wagener, SC or the residence of Ms. Annette C. Pinckney at 1911 Alan Ave., Aiken and his mother, Julia Pinckney Jerry, 2105 Sandy Run Dr., Gaston. Born in Aiken, Co., S.C., he was the son of Julia P. Jerry and the late Whitt Quattlebaum. He was educated in the public schools of Aiken County. He was a member of the Smyrna Baptist Church and former jobs consist of Southeastern and N.W. Trucking Co. Mr. Pinckney left to cherish his memories: wife, Annette Pinckney of Aiken; two sons, Todd Pinckney, Gaston and Tamie Muhammad of Columbia; daughter, Sheibra Cullum of Aiken; mother, Julia B. Jerry, Gaston; maternal grandmother, Rubins W. Pinckney, Gaston; two grandchildren; aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and very close friends. J.H.
