AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mother Bertha Lee Thompson Plummer was the daughter of the late Reverend George and Florine Smith Thompson. Formerly of Elberton, GA., Mother Bertha departed this life on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at University Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be 12 noon, Friday, May 16, 2008, at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, 3647 Karleen Road, Hephzibah, Ga. Words of Comfort will be given by Pastor Angeleen Walker. Final Rites will be 4:00 pm, Friday, May 16, 2008, at Martin Grove Baptist Church, Elberton, Ga., with Reverend Dr. James A. Hogan, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
