NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. Jeff Harris, 90, of Aiken Avenue, entered into rest May 11, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Harris, a native of Edgefield County, was a member and deacon of Bethlehem Baptist Church, North Augusta. He was a United States Navy veteran. Survivors include an adopted daughter, Marie (Noel) Hernandez, Miami, Fla.; a brother, Wade (Ann) Carthen, Augusta; two sisters, Lannie Carthen, Augusta and Willie Mae Moore, Jacksonville, Fla.; brother-in-law, Albert (Mary) Curry, New York; sister-in-law, Alice Hill, North Augusta; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Friends may call at the residence. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Arthur L. Kemp officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. G. L.
