NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. Ollie William Parsons, 88, of North Augusta, entered into rest Thursday, May 15, 2008 at University Hospital. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2008, at 11:00 A.M. at Pineview Memorial Park with Rev. Steve Chrisco officiating. Mr. Parsons was born in Dalton, Georgia, having made North Augusta his home. He was retired from the E.I. DuPont Company and was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in World War II. The family said he was the "Best Daddy in the World". Survivors include his wife, Ruby Parsons; four daughters, Kathleen Glinski and Margie Greene, both of North Augusta, SC, Carolyn Hall and Glenda Coleman, both of Martinez, GA; one brother, Ralph Parsons; one sister, Elsie Smith, both of Dalton GA; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
