jewell of a show: The Hammin & Jammin BBQ Cook Off & Musicfest will feature Mountain Heart on Friday and Buddy Jewell on Saturday at the Hippodrome in North Augusta. On Friday, bands will play from 6:30-10:30, with gates opening at 5. Tickets are $10 at the gate. On Saturday, gates will open at 10 a.m., and bands play from noon to 10:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10 in advance and $15 at the gate. See www.hammin

so you think you can dance: The CSRA showgirls and Augusta Colts Dance Camp for girls 5-13 years old will take place Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Center Stage Dance Academy.
