APPLING, Ga. - Retired Sergeant First Class Russell M. Crosby, 66, husband of Mary Crosby, entered into rest on Friday, May 9, 2008, at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 12, 2008, at Starling Funeral Home, Harlem, Georgia with Reverend Jon Richards officiating with military honors. Mr. Crosby was born in Dodge City, Georgia to the late R.S. Crosby, Sr. and Nethlee Crosby. He was a retired U.S. Army Sergeant First Class, having served in Vietnam. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Mary Crosby; four daughters, Melanie (Gordon) Morin, Pamela (Kyle) Baxley, Karen Vallee and Melissa (Jeffery) Willis; nine grandchildren, Heather Kaminski, Mathew Burkhart, Amanda McZilkey, Ryan Crosby, Dakota McZilkey, A.J.
