HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Sammie (Blue) Settles entered into rest on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife of many years; Mrs. Elease (Sally) Settles and a son, James (Red) Settles. Those left to cherish his loving memories includes three daughters; Mrs. Frances Timmons, Betty (Warren) Wiley, Linda Settles; a devoted granddaughter Latasha Williams; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; sister, Bertha (Robert) Bell; daughter-in-law, Lillie Settles; sister-in-law, Eddie Lee Bell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and loving friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Kinsey & Walton Chapel, with Reverend Charles Lacey, officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery, Hephzibah, Ga.
