LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mrs. Emogene Butler Huguley, 88 wife of the late Luther E. Huguley , formerly of McCormick Hwy. ,Lincolnton, died Wed. Apr. 30, 2008 at Kentwood Nursing Facility, Augusta, Ga. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Morningside Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Fernandez officiating. Interment will follow in the Lincolnton City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brent Huff, Lance Huff, Robbie Brown, Cory Kirby, Brandt Varner, and Blake Varner. Mrs. Huguley, daughter of the late Lemuel M. and Inez Albea Butler, was born in Wilkes County on April 4, 1920. A graduate of Tignall High School, she had lived in Lincolnton most of her life and retired from Milliken Mill, McCormick. Also, she was a charter member of Morningside Baptist Church. Mrs. Huguley was preceded in death by her husband, Luther E. Huguley, and brothers, Harold Albea Butler, Gerald "Pete" Butler, and H.M. Butler. Survivors: Son:Ron Huguley and wife, Charlotte, of Marietta. Daughters: Gail H. Huff, and husband, Herman of Tucker Sandra H. Brown, and husband, Bobby, of Hartwell Kathy H. Varner, and husband, Ronnie of Martinez. Brother: Thomas "Tom" Butler, Rotunda Florida Sisters:Kathryn Dill and Audrey Butler, of Rotunda Florida Esther Bodie, Plum Branch, SC 9 Grandchildren, 14 Great-grandchildren.
