Candidate Obama lacks experience

  • Follow Letters

The recent TV interview with Fox News' Chris Wallace and Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama clearly shows the lack of experience and political background of the candidate.

Sen. Obama is a smooth and articulate speaker, more in tune with the thoughts and ideas of an editor of the Harvard Law Review than as a presidential candidate!

Obama seemed to waffle a lot on questions pertaining to the economy, the energy crisis and the persistent problems in the entire Middle East. These are areas are of the most concern to voters.

To be a viable candidate, he must distance himself from questionable characters such as Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan.

Obama's looks and broad smile alone will not win him the presidential seat.

Al Kotras, Augusta

True enough Al Kotras. BO's 2

True enough Al Kotras. BO's 2 year delay before accepting an invitation on the Chris Wallace show was not long enough to gain viable experience. His interview was revealing.

Think again. Lack of

Think again. Lack of experience was what BUSH had with this economy, do you really think we can go through this again to make it better?? Give me a break! Look at GWB's Education and you will note he got a "D" in economics! Somehow lack of experience is something this country cannot take another pelting of. I am not about to "CHANGE" by voting for OB, cause that kind of change is not going to do this country any justice! I don't know who to vote for but I don't want another Bush look alike in the white house.

Senator Obama is the only
Unpublished

Senator Obama is the only African-American in the Senate. (there are 100) Whites have done an excellent job of keeping "us" out, by adjusting issues, using wedge issues, scaring whites to vote a particular way to maintain power, and now. look at the country. Serious problems everywhere, so what happened with these EXPERIENCED leaders? How did they fail us so miserable? (EXPERIENCE, Ha!) Why have past experienced leaders accomplish so little? A "lack of experience" argument is a talking point received from the all-white media to justify a particular view, not a credibile argument. His lack of experience is an assest, because judging from history, experienced leaders are the ones who have gotten us into this mess.

If I could say something to Obama, I would say this. Keep you head up. You have handled some difficult situations with dignity, elegance and class. As an African American male, you have made us proud. Win, lose or draw, you have put a light, in the spirits of young blacks and whites all across this nation and we are greatly indebted to you. Continue your march to the White House, you carry the hopes of all Americans, hoping for a better day, for our nation. The check is in the mail!!! OBAMA 08!!!!

Hypthetical letter from a concerned citizen. Dear Senator Obama, Yo nappy headed political ho. You sold out your bro you piece of bat poop. Someone needs to pop a cap in you for selling your main man down the whitey river. Your qualifications of youthful and arrogant with no substance is pathetic and a disgrace to the black race. Thank God all black men aren't as stupid as you, and that is why Allan Keyes is getting my vote. Signed Conservative Black Citizen. Keyes 08!!!Hee,hee,hee.

His path to the big stage has

His path to the big stage has been relatively unchallenged, as the Democratic Party is very lacking these days for leaders with integrity and morals. Not hard to sell a jacket to a naked Eskimo. Now that he is on the big stage, it has been shown he is from a very common background, and his ability to make rational decisions has been proven to be non-existent. He proudly associates with losers, and only losers will vote for him.
