COLUMBIA --- A teen accused of killing his family spent the hours after the slayings riding four-wheelers with a friend and buying steaks for dinner, the friend's grandmother said Tuesday.
Nathan Dickson, who is accused of shooting his father, stepmother, stepsister and brother Saturday morning, was arrested that evening outside friend Brantley Creel's home.
"I thought my heart was going to stop beating," said Mr. Creel's grandmother, Sybil Philyaw.
The teens had spent the day together and had gone to get supplies for a cookout when authorities arrived at Mrs. Philyaw's, she said. They told her and her husband that Mr. Dickson's family had been killed and that Mr. Dickson didn't know police were looking for him, she said.

He's already confessed to the killings, so his guilt is not in question but his motivation still is.

Most mass murderers at schools, malls, post offices, etc are white. Most psycho killers are white. Child killers are usually white, and child abductors are almost exclusively white. The violent crimes in this country committed by blacks is usually on blacks, gang related, drug related or over money owed. Blacks don't go on shooting sprees for the hell of it like most white mass murderers do. It has happened, but it is rare and you can name the ones who did on one hand.
