Carfax service should be mandatory for every pre-owned vehicle, even if it is privately sold. It should be one of the documents presented at the vehicle registration office and the clerk should go over it with them before processing the registration, and if the buyer does not agree, buyer has a right to a full refund. That would cut down on fraud. But of course because tax money is involved, as usual, the government could care less.
Just curious, what tax money is involved that you are talking about?
It just amazes me every time I read where a young teen meets up with strangers and gets in the car with them. At 15 years of age this young girl should have known better to get into a vehicle with two men and ride off with them. What these men did was wrong but where was this young girl's brain??? The way the article reads, her sister dropped her off at the mall and she met with two men. Was this a pre-arranged meeting or did she just happen to hook up with them?
how do we know she wasnt willing ,face it people the days of sugar and spice are gone forever ,these young girls know exactly what they are doing but it doesnt matter to them ,because they are always the victims, they should be punished just like the young men will be.i have a friend that punished his 11 year old stepdaughter, guess how she got her revenge ,she swore he molested her (being the strong christian we knew he was ,we knew he was innocent) but in the court system when it involves a little girl ,you are guilty.he was released from prison 4 yrs later after she confessed she had made the whole thing up, what punishment did she recieve ----- none. how is his life even now he was cleared of all charges -----ruined.
The mall should be the last place anyone drops off an unsupervised juvenile. If you only knew what type of people hang out there.
Car Fax is a joke. It only reports accidents that have had insurance claims. If a person chooses not to go through insurance it never gets reported. If a person wants car fax then that person should have to pay for it
The article says she met with two men. It doesnt say she was approached by two men. The word stranger is not used anywhere in the article. No matter how we look at it, the men were wrong if they had sex with an underage girl. But it sounds to me like the girl bought some of her own trouble. Its important that we teach our kids that behavior like this is never acceptable. If proven guilty, the men need to be convicted but I think the girl needs some counseling. ibew- I am sorry to hear about your friend. His daughter makes it hard for children who really are molested and not believed. I hope this girl's parents see that this child is searching in the streets for something she is not getting at home. What a tragedy. Be blessed people! Lets keep an eye on this story to see what comes out.
When I passed by Liberty Tax Center on Washington, I noticed that it was opened and had Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty out there waving by the road just like they did before they were arrested. I hope its not the same owners that are awaiting trial.
