AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Robert C. Manecke, Sr., 57, entered into rest Saturday, April 26, 2008, at Trinity Hospital. Mr. Manecke was a native of the Panama Canal Zone but has lived in Augusta most of his life. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a Catholic. Family members include his daughters: Jennifer Manecke of Augusta, Brandy Mahle and husband Johnny of Baltimore, MD; son: Robert C. Manecke, Jr. of Augusta; brothers: William Manecke of Augusta, David Manecke of Atlanta, James Manecke of Houston, TX; sisters: Jeanne Manecke of Houston, TX, Maureen Byrd of Augusta and 9 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Military Honors. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
