KEYSVILLE, Ga. - Ms. Shelby Jean Harden, 72, entered into rest Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Keysville Nursing Home & Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., April 28, 2008, at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Timothy Pendrey officiating. Burial will follow at Waldens United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Ms. Harden was a member of Waldens United Methodist Church and was retired from Stapleton Garment Co. She had been crowned Ms. Keysville Nursing Home & Rehab Center Queen for 2007. She loved to go to Gospel music concerts. Survivors include a brother, Etheridge L. Rooks; three sisters, Willadean Kuykendall, Virginia Stanfield, and Sonya Usry and a special cousin, Margaret Rooks. Ms. Harden was preceded in death by her parents James L. and Pauline F. Rooks; siblings, Jimmie Chalker, John Rooks, James Rooks, and Joyce Dixon. Pallbearers will be nephews, Barry Rooks, Tim Rooks, Steve Rooks, Joey Stanfield, Jim Stanfield, and Keith Usry.
