AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Wednesday, April 23, 2008, Mrs. Virginia B. Usry, 87, wife of the late Otis Usry. Mrs. Usry was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She was retired from MCG and a member of Bayvale Baptist Church. Mrs. Usry was well known for her baked goods and her wonderful recipe for southern fruit cake. Family members include her son: Gerald Usry of Cincinnati, OH; daughter: Pamela Ehrhardt of Deltona, FL; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and sister: Jennie Dukes of Augusta. Funeral services will be held today, Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Bayvale Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie DeLoach officiating. Mrs. Usry will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Sidney Holland, Paul Tice, David Dukes, Jerry Ellington, Carl Usry and James Usry. Honorary pallbearers will be the Ladies Adult 3 Sunday School Class at Bayvale. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
