Hull sets school records, wins award

In Albany, Ga., Augusta Prep's Jim Hull won three events and was high point man in the GISA AAA State Track and Field Championships on Saturday.

The junior broke school records in the 1,600 meters (4:33.50) and the 800 meters (1:58.90). He also won the 3,200 meters (9:58.70) and anchored the team's fourth-place finish in the 4 x 400-meter relay.

Hull earned 31 individual points to capture the high point award in the men's division.

Augusta Prep's boys and girls teams placed sixth. Riverside Military Academy's boys and First Presbyterian Day School's girls captured the respective team titles.

Augusta Prep's other notable finishers were: Ryan Goss, eighth place, long jump; Nick Shaw, eighth place, 110-meter high hurdles, and fifth place, 300 meter intermediate hurdles.
