Ann K. Brown (APPLING, Ga.)

APPLING, Ga. - Mrs. Priscilla Ann Brown, 66, wife of Mr. George H. Brown entered into rest on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Friday April 25, 2008, at Kiokee Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Hartman officiating. Interment will be in the Kiokee Cemetery, Schucraft Road, Appling, Ga. Mrs. Brown was born in Washington, Georgia to the late Thomas and Jennie Kealy. She was the owner of Brown Connection Catering and had retired from the Columbia County Tax Assessors Office. She was a member of Kiokee Baptist Church where she attended Adult 2 Sunday School Class. She was instrumental in starting the Wednesday Prayer Meeting Supper. Mrs. Brown served numerous duties at the church. She was a loving wife, mother and 'Myma'. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Donald Kealy. Survivors include her husband George H.Brown; one daughter Sandy (Michael) Cunningham; two sons Paul (Melissa) Brown and Eddie (Kim) Brown, all of Appling; Her grandchildren Wil and Kealy Hardy, Kaitlyn Cunningham, Lyndsey Holt, Preston Brown, Chelsea and Kendall Brown; one sister Marilyn (Bob) Cantrell, Tucker, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews. If so desired, memorials may be made in memory of Ann Brown to the Relay for Life, c/o McDuffie Animal Hospital, Dr. David Ruehle, PO Box 571, Thomson, GA 30824, or to the Kiokee Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 430, Appling, GA 30802. Pallbearers will be Pete Knox, Ben Dorn, Eddy Sanderlin, Terry Hyatt, Tracy McDaniel and Darryl James. Friends may call at the residence.
