MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest, Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at University Hospital, Mr. John Frank Livingston, 75, of Martinez, GA. Mr. Livingston was a native of Abbeville, SC. and lived most of his life in the Augusta area. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired as a Union Ironworker, Local 709. John's devotion to his sons, brothers, sisters and their families is what made him such an outstanding man. He always put everyone before himself in their time of need. His love of family and selflessness were first among his many outstanding traits. He will be missed by all. He is survived by his sons: David Livingston and wife Robin of Evans, GA, Steve Livingston and wife Adell of Coral Springs, FL, Jay Livingston and wife Brenda of Graniteville, SC; eight grandchildren: Nicki Strickland, Lauren, Candace, Ben, Jake, Matt, Brooke, and Cole Livingston, sisters: Daphne Sheppard and Ruby Gomez, brothers: David Livingston and James Livingston. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, April 25, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jackie Robinson and Rev. Chuck Gordon officiating.
