JACKSON, S.C. - Graveside services for Mrs. Margaret Burriss Edwards, 87, of Old Jackson Highway, Jackson, SC, who entered into rest April 21, 2008 will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 o'clock in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Elberton, GA. Mrs. Edwards was a native of Iva, SC, having made the Beech Island-Jackson area her home for the past fifty-three years. She was of the Baptist faith and a former member of The Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Edwards was wife of the late Mr. Alex E. Edwards and mother of the late Kenneth Edwards. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Lois Edwards, Evans; a daughter-in-law, Debra Edwards, Beech Island; a sister, Reba Manning, Anderson, SC; four grandchildren, Misty Marshall, Brenton Edwards, Angie Brock and Jason Corley.
