JACKSON, S.C. - Mrs. Linda Jones, 51, of Third St., entered into rest April 22, 2008. Funeral arrangements will be announced. Mrs. Jones was a member of Springfield Baptist Church, Edgefield, S.C. She was active with the Watchcare Ministry of Friendship Baptist Church, Aiken, S.C. Survivors include her husband, Willie Jones, Jackson; three daughters, Dawn A. Jones, Jennifer Jones, both of Jackson and Deidre Jones, Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; parents, Dorothy (Charles) Moore, Benton, Miss. and Robert (Ann) Whitney, Detroit, Mich.; one sister, Sharon Whitney, Detroit; two brothers, Cedric Whitney and Robert Whitney, both of Detroit; and a host of other relatives.
