MEET: 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays at the Aiken Hobby Lobby on Whiskey Road. The group will have a show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 16 at the Aiken Mall.

MEMBERS: Anyone can join the group for free. Instructions for newcomers are offered, but there isn't always a formal lesson. Newcomers are also provided with a free knife and wood to start the class until they can get their own materials.

MISSION: To further the art of woodcarving in all its various forms. Show that woodcarving is truly an art form.
