AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Rudolph C. Jolly, of Wheeler Road, entered into rest Thursday, April 10, 2008 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Thankful Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Sam Tanksley officiating. Burial will be in Walker Memorial Park. He was a native of Tampa, Fla., a retired employee of Kimberly Clark and the Augusta National Golf and Course, and a member of Thankful Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Marian G. Jolly; one son, Rudolph (Rebecca) Jolly, Jr., Martinez; one daughter, Kathryn Jolly (friend, Sohail), Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Annie Mae Jolly Gray, Dorothy Mae Jolly Watson, Tampa, Fla.; four brothers, Jasper Jolly, Edward (Lue) Jolly, James Jolly, Tampa, Fla., and Alphonso Jolly, Washington, D.C.; three sisters-in-law, Catherine (Augustus) Palmer, Baltimore, Md., Louise (Edward) Beasley, Hephzibah, Shirley (Llewellyn) Murphy, Idaho Falls, Idaho; brother-in-law, Earl (Eddie Mae) Griffin, Augusta; four grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
