MCCORMICK, S.C. - Thomas "Tommy" R. McAbee, Jr., 74, of McCormick, died April 17, 2008. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Overbrook Cemetery, McCormick. Mr. McAbee was born in McCormick, was a member of McCormick Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Clair Voyles McAbee; son, Thomas "Russel" McAbee, III, McCormick; one brother, Jennings McAbee, McCormick and Connie M. Robinson, McCormick. Honorary pallbearers will be the S.C. State Transport Police. The family will receive friends at Strom Funeral Home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Donations may be made to the T.R.
