BURNETTOWN, S.C. - Entered into rest on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, Mr. Leon Heath, husband of the late Mary Sizemore Heath and the late Sarah Sconyers Heath. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Junnie Sizemore. Surviving is a daughter, Bebe Jean Brown (Sonny), Cropwell, Al; three grandchildren, Laura Weatherford, Allen Weatherford (Tina) and Lee Weatherford (April), one great grandson, R. J. Johnson, all of West Blocton, AL; sister-in-law, Betty Heath, Langley, SC, extended family, Mildred Rutland, Jackie Courtney, Bobby and Ann Hollowell, Gary and LaWana McKenzie, Charles and Marianni Rutland, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Heath was born in Langley, SC to the late Jackson and Georgia Redd Heath. He was a charter member of the Burnettown First Baptist Church and a member of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. He retired from J. M. Huber with 33 years of service. Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Burnettown First Baptist Church with Rev. Cory Glover officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. On Saturday Mr. Heath will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Pallbearers will be Charles Rutland, Gary McKenzie, Bobby Hollowell, Lloyd Heath Sr, Gerald Heath, Scott McDaniel, Rudy Heath and Ralph Mund.
