AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Oblee Andrews, Jr., of Palm Court, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Heartland Hospice. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Beulah Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Sam Davis officiating. Burial will be at Southview Cemetery. Mr. Andrews, a native of Jewel, Ga., was retired from Georgia Iron Works, Grovetown. He was also a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Lucille Andrews; four sons, Carl (Patricia) Andrews, Sr., Richard Andrews, Augusta, Antaun (Lenore) Andrews, Sr., North Augusta, Efren Andrews, Augusta; three daughters, Valerie Douglas, Myra (Thomas) Moss, Augusta, Vanessa (Lecola) Mungo, McDonough, Ga.; two brothers- in-law, Charles Bryant, John Harris, Augusta; two aunts, Clara Ellison, Geraldine Smith, Augusta; twenty-six grandchildren, twenty- four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
