AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Alean Hay, wife of the late Andrew Hay of Tenth Street, entered into rest Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Heartland Hospice. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Oscar Wells officiating. Burial will be at Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Barnwell, S.C. She was a native of Meyers Mill, S.C.; a retiree of the Prince Georges County Health Department in Maryland and a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Deaconess Board and Music Ministry. Survivors are one sister, Rosa Ella Holloway, Sanford, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Carrie L. Hay, Lanhan, Md., Thelma Hay Williams, Detroit, Mich.; one brother-in-law, Hubert Mays, Ninety Six, S.C.; nieces, nephews; a host of cousins. The family will receive friends 6 to 7 p.m. this evening.
