The Askin family's West Lake home in Martinez is situated on the golf course's sixth green.

Elegant but laid back, it is on the sixth green at West Lake, and has a recreation room decked out with Masters-theme dÃcor.

While the Askins enjoy a family vacation during Tournament Week each year, their home plays host to Masters guests.

"I knew immediately we'd try to rent it for Masters," Mrs. Askin said.

The recreation room is an especially popular spot for guests, with several couches, a pool table, a bar that includes green martini glasses, and walls ornamented with golf and Masters dÃcor, including three prints depicting Amen Corner.

When it's not being used by Masters guests, University of Georgia fans fill the room on football game days -- Mr. Askin and son, Franklin, 11, are big Dawg fans.

Mrs. Askin likes the appropriately named family room because of its warm colors and coziness.

"My family spends the most time as a family in here," she said.

The house includes several distinct features: a hand-carved wooden fireplace in the family room with Queen Elizabeth on one side and Sir Walter Raleigh on the other; a limestone fireplace and two golden mirrors with matching cherubim faces in the living room; and a white antique-finish mirror in the guest room.

Outside, the family enjoys a spacious back deck with a grill and abundant seating.
