Teachers get grants

The following educators were recipients of Washington Savannah River Co. excellence-in-teaching mini grants:

Going to science event

Jimmie Busbee , who teaches at Johnston-Edgefield-Trenton Middle School, has been selected to attend the Science P.L.U.S. Institute during the summer.

Missing teen's body found in woods

Nicholas Charles Dunn, 18, missing since Friday, was found in the woods behind Cross Creek High School, according to a statement from Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen.
