AUGUSTA, Ga. - Devoted family woman and retired labor union president Betty L. Lyons entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 7, 2008 at University Medical Center in Augusta. Funeral services will be held at C.A. Reid Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 1:00 P.M., Rev. Enoch Ward officiating. Mrs. Lyons leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Agnes Neal (Francile), Augusta; two sons, Clint Lyons, Esq. (Alma), Washington, D.C. and Fred Lyons, East Orange, NJ; 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Linton Lyons.
