AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Barbara A. Shipman Hubert, of Dublin Place, entered into rest Monday, April 7, 2008 at the residence. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 12, 2008 at 11a.m. with Rev. Dr. Sam Tanksley officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. She was a native of Richmond County, Georgia and a member of the Hale Street Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband, Jimmy Hubert; one daughter, Felicia Shipman, Augusta; one stepdaughter, Cherelle Mayfield, New York, N.Y.; stepson, Rodney Hubert, Las Vegas, Nev.; mother, Louise Scott, one brother, James (Theresa) Bradley; three sisters, Belinda Scott, Stephanie Paschal, Wanda (James) Bell, Augusta; sisters-in-law, Lula (Richard) Burns, Margaret (Clinton) Paulk, Sydney (Fred) Washington, Augusta; brohter-in-law, Clancey Hubert, all of Augusta; aunt Helen (Alex) Shaw, Philadelphia, PA; uncle, George Bailey, Augusta; Five grandchildren; Five godchildren; a host of nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
