KENNESAW, Ga. - Mrs. Ruth Clemmons Kuzniak, 97, passed from this life on Monday, April 7, 2008 in Kennesaw, GA. She was the daughter of the late Mary Walters and Joseph Alfred Clemmons of Augusta and was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Frank Kuzniak. Ruth retired from the Richmond County School System where she taught second grade at the Joseph R. Lamar School for many years and was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Robert Frank (Bob) and Alice Kuzniak of Kennesaw, GA and William Clem (Bill) and Ann Kuzniak of Tunnel Hill, GA; six grandchildren: Mary Kuzniak of Rome, GA and fianc Bill Kizer of Dalton, GA, Alicia Kuzniak and Tim Shadburn of Suwanee, GA, Susan Kuzniak and Tom Kinnaird of Bloomington, IN, Chris and Lauren Kuzniak of Nashville, TN, Julie Kuzniak and Jeff Frisbee of Dalton, GA, and Stephen Kuzniak of Athens, GA. as well as five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Platt's Funeral Home Crawford Avenue Chapel in Augusta, GA on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. James H. Silcoxp officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 1 until service time .
