ST. MARY'S, Ga. - Mrs. Alexis Noelle Colohan-Cannon Haworth, 21, beloved wife of Matthew A. Haworth and beloved daughter of John and Jean Colohan-Cannon entered into rest on April 6th, 2008 at Shand's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. Alexis was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Augusta, GA on February 10, 1987. She was living in St. Mary's Georgia with her husband, a submariner with the United Stated Navy. Alexis graduated from Lakeside High School in 2005 where she was active in the chorus program; she even traveled to Hard Rock CafŽ in Orlando, FL to perform with her school. Alexis attended Georgia Southern University and was a junior studying pre-law to hopefully one day follow in her mother's footsteps; however she was taking a year off of school to enjoy being a new wife. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 12, 2008 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. with The Reverend Michael Roverse officiating. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Alexis was an amazing woman; to all that knew her she was smart, beautiful, strong and compassionate. She would think nothing of stopping on the side of the road to give someone in need her food or the jacket off her back. She was a gorgeous girl with the most amazing smile, her eyes would twinkle whenever she smiled and was happy. Alexis had a crazy laugh that was so infectious you couldn't help but to laugh along. She had an incredible love for animals and rescued her two "fur-kids" Popeye and Princess. Alexis is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, PopPop, Paul M. Colohan, Sr., her maternal aunt, Karen Colohan Cintron Courter and her mother-in-law Paula Haworth.
