AIKEN, S.C. - Rev. Levi Chavous, Sr., 81, of 305 Marlboro St., entered into rest April 8, 2008 at MCG Hospital in Augusta. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Rev. Chavous was the former Pastor for 40 years at Ridgewood Missionary Baptist Church in Columbia, S.C. He was also known as the Pastor of local area churches prior to his tenure in Columbia. Survivors include one son, Levi (Pamela) Chavous, Jr., Woodbridge, Va.; one daughter, Zenobia (Earnie) Ferreira, Fairfax, Va.; one brother, Walter (Juanita) Chavous, Augusta; two sisters, Betty Chavous-Pearson, Charleston, S.C. and Jacqueline (Stanley) Chavous- Mooney, Cherry Hill, N.J.; one grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
