MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mrs. Bobbie Lowery Howard, 76, beloved wife of Clyde Howard, entered into rest Sunday April 6, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Trinity Baptist Church, with the Dr. K.C. Stevens and the Rev. Ron Hankal officiating. Interment will be in Harlem Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Howard was born in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Grover and Gertrude Lowery. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Clyde Howard; four sons, Jerry Nix, Liberty, SC, Steve Nix, Martinez, Robert Howard, Mauldin, SC, and Pat Howard, Easley, SC; two daughters Jackie Shoemaker, Texas and Janice Howard, Martinez; one brother, Jack Lowery, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son Terrell Nix, daughter, Patricia Nix, and step-son Fred Howard. Pallbearers will be Gene Knox, Henry Chambers, Ralph Walden, Kenny Phillips, Joe Harmon, and Charles Fletcher.
