WASHINGTON, Ga. - Mr. Larry Gail Maxwell, 61, of 981 Beaverdam Rd., died Sunday, April 6, 2008 at his home. Mr. Maxwell was a native of Wilkes County and had lived there all of his life. He was the son of the late John R. Maxwell and Susie Kennedy Maxwell. He worked as a night watchman at Wood Specialty and was a member of the Beaverdam Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by brothers, James and Bill Maxwell. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, April 9, 2008 at the Beaverdam Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Len Hardy, Ricky Maxwell, Kerry McAvoy, Kerry McAvoy, Jr., H.N. Kennedy, and Donnie Maxwell. Mr. Maxwell is survived by three sisters, Elizabeth Norman of Lincolnton and Christine Young and Della Holstein, both of Washington. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7-9 at Hopkins Funeral Home.
