- The Community Foundation for the Central Savannah River Area has scheduled free seminars to educate nonprofit organizations seeking to apply for the foundation's annual Unrestricted Grant Program.

The Grant Seeker Sessions will be held April 21 and 23 at 10 a.m. in the training room of Serotta Maddocks Evans & Co. at 701 Greene St., Suite 201.

Organizations requesting funding must serve at least one of the following counties: Richmond, Columbia, Aiken, McDuffie, Edgefield or McCormick.

Individuals are not eligible to apply.

Session attendees are asked to park in the lot behind the brick building accessible via Seventh Street.

- Junior Achievement of Augusta seeks corporate sponsors and teams for its third annual AT&T Golf Tournament to benefit its educational programs in the Augusta metro area.

Sponsorships range from $250 -$2,500. Contact event Chairman Bill Graves for details at (706) 738-9544 or william.graves@att.com, or Junior Achievement Executive Director Laurie Cook at (706) 736-3071 or lcook@georgia.ja.org.

Registration and lunch for the May 21 event is at 11:30 a.m. at Houndslake Country Club in Aiken.

Junior Achievement teaches young people the concepts of free enterprise, business and economics in local schools.
