BARNWELL, S.C. - William Green Jenkins, 86 of Barnwell died Sunday, April 6, 2008. William Green was a graduate of Clemson College and a veteran of World War II. He served with US Army Air Corps in North Africa and Italy. He was a member of the Kline Baptist Church for 75 years. A fourth generation farmer, his respect and love of the land and its crops continued throughout his life. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ellen Bush Jenkins and their children; William G. Jenkins, Jr. and Ann Marie of Hilton Head, Julien B. Jenkins and Teresa of Norwich, CT., Perry M. Jenkins and Carey of Mt. Pleasant, Ellen D. Jenkins of Alexandria, Va., and Kimball J. Davis and Michael of Myrtle Beach and 10 grandchildren. Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 9,2008 at the Kline Cemetery at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at Mole Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials maybe made to the Kline Baptist Church, 422 Boiling Springs Rd., Barnwell SC 29812 or the charity of your choice.
