AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Robert Louis Fryer, 80, beloved husband of Willie Mae Jones Fryer, entered peacefully into eternal rest at Doctors' Hospital on Friday, March 28, 2008. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Belle-Terrace Presbyterian Church - USA with Reverend Melvin G. Lowry officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park. His memories will live in the hearts of his loving and devoted family: his wife of 58Ú years, Willie Mae Fryer; two daughters, Harriett F. Parham (Bobby), COL (Ret) Gwendolyn Fryer; two brothers, Bennie Edward Fryer and Herbert Fryer (Lillian); two sisters, Evelyn F.Warthen and Arnita F. Thomas; four sisters-in-law, Mildred Griffin (Percy), Mattie Alberta Walker (Jake), Frankie Morgan, and Armenta L. Fryer: one brother-in- law, Harrison Jones; four grandchildren: Willie L. White, Armechia C. White, April D. Parham, and G. Alexandria Bodkin; five great- grandchildren: J. Jarae White, Vonshe' White, Dominique M. Whitley, Cameron Bates, and Kahliyah M. Thompson; one nephew who is like a son, Willie H. Fryer (Dealynn); a cousin who is the "Watchman on the Wall" Johnnie W. Fryer, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, April 4, 2008 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road.
