LITHONIA, Ga. - Mrs. Eva McLarin Stephens, 98, formerly of Edna Street, Belvedere, S.C., entered into rest April 2, 2008 at Traditions Health & Rehab Center. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mrs. Stephens was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Stephens; son, Phillip Eugene McLarin; granddaughter, Felicia McLarin. Mrs. Stephens, a native of Fulton County, was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Augusta, where she served on the Senior Choir, Red Rose Auxiliary, Giddon Army and Combined Choir. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Alberta McLarin, Lithonia, Ga.; devoted nieces and nephews, Geneva Goodson, Carolyn Eskew, Barbara McLarin, Atlanta, Ga., and Ada Sadler, Lithonia, Ga., Thomas McLarin, Robert McLarin, Marvin McLarin, and Willie James McLarin, Atlanta, Ga.; a host of other relatives and friends.
