Exactly why Augusta don't need a new stadium... all these supporters of the stadium, why weren't you at the game Thursday... don't waste money.

Go to this PLEASE. The Augusta Chronicle does not know what they are talking about.
http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?t=l_att&lid=116&... I am TIRED of your crap CHRONICLE. First Friday would have also been dead if it would have been on a day like that.

The paid attendance was 4,511 only Lakewood and Greenville had a higher attendance of 5,100 and 6,000 but we have a smaller stadium. sure there might not have that many there but thats how many tickets SOLD and if the weather was better they would have been there and it would have been packed. Did any of you watch the Braves last night. Turner Field probably was not even HALF full. An average Braves night during the week is only around 20 to 25 thousand. Rome had 1,000 LESS than us.
