TACOMA, Wash. - Mr. Thomas J. Jordan entered into rest on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in Tacoma, WA. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Christian for Change Baptist Church, Riverdale, GA., with Rev. Alvonia McCoy presiding and eulogy by Rev. Horace Hollaway. Interment will be in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA with full military honors. Mr. Jordan, a native of Wrens, GA retired from the US Army with 21 years of service. He received an Associate degree in Electronics from Clover Park College, Tacoma, and was employed as a machine specialist for IBM. Survivors include his loving wife, Gladys M. Jordan, Tacoma; daughter, Michelle (Lawrence) Newkirk, New York, NY; two stepdaughters, Pamela Woodard, New York, NY; Michelle (Mike) Daly, Austin, TX; stepson, Reginald Woodard, Ventura, CA; grandchildren, Tianna Newkirk and Natalie Woodard, New York, NY; three brothers, James Jordan, Spring Lake, NC; Elder Wilbur (Lottie) Jordan, Thomson, GA; Walter L.
