MCCORMICK, S.C. - Bonnie Jean McCrum Denoon, 79, resident of 203 Pirates Cove, widow of Merrell Francis Denoon, died Monday, March 31, 2008 at her daughters home, 136 Beareau Drive in McCormick. Born September 15, 1928 in Lost Springs, Kansas she was a daughter of the late Gladys McCrum. Mrs. Denoon received a Masters Degree in Kansas and an Education Doctorate Specialist Degree at Auburn University in Auburn, AL. She later received her PhD from Peabody College in Nashville, TN. Retired from Seattle University in Seattle, WA she was Dean of Special Education and was Professor Emeritus. Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne Amos and her husband Robert of McCormick; and two grandsons, Ryan Amos of Augusta and Randy Amos of Minnesota.
